Tattoo Removal St. Louis - Non-Invasive Procedure Missouri
Do you have a tattoo that you wish you could get rid of? If so, there are options.
Tattoo removal generally entails one of two procedures: laser removal or excision. Tattoos that are mainly black are ideal candidates for laser removal. This usually takes up to a few treatments to remove the tattoo. The treatments fade the tattoo, but never completely remove the tattoo.
If the tattoo has many bright colors, including red, yellow and green, laser therapy is not an ideal treatment. In this case, the best option is excision of the tattoo. If the tattoo is small, this can be done in one treatment. If the tattoo is medium or large in size, Dr. Cabbabe may recommend serial excision. In this manner, Dr. Cabbabe takes advantage of the natural elasticity of the skin and the tattoo is excised in 2 or 3 stages, thereby reducing the size of the scar that would be needed to remove the tattoo in one session.
Dr. Cabbabe incorporates his experience with reconstructive and cosmetic surgery to give his patients the best results possible to meet their desires.
