Samer W. Cabbabe, M.D.

Dr. Cabbabe began his undergraduate career at Saint Louis University after being offered a position in the highly prestigious Premedical Scholars Program. He turned down acceptance to Washington University to be enrolled into this early/guaranteed acceptance to medical school program. While at SLU, he was a member of multiple honor societies including Alpha Epsilon Delta. Dr. Cabbabe finished his undergrad at SLU Summa Cum Laude and then went on to medical school at SLU where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in the top 10 in his class of 150. He also served as class president at SLU Medical School. While on his surgery rotation, he scored in the 98th % percentile in the nation on his surgery exam.

Dr. Cabbabe was then accepted into one of the most prestigious surgical training centers in the world at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. He completed 5 full years of general surgery training. Dr. Cabbabe was then accepted into a highly competitive 2 – year plastic surgery fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham under world renowned plastic surgeon, Dr. Luis Vasconez. While there, he learned advanced cosmetic and reconstructive techniques including minimally invasive cosmetic surgery and microsurgical breast reconstruction as well as hand surgery. He has brought these unique skills and techniques to the St. Louis area. On his plastic surgery oral board examination, Dr. Cabbabe scored in the top 10% in the nation.

Dr. Cabbabe is a dual board – certified surgeon: he is board certified by both the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Cabbabe is a member of a number of societies and professional organizations both local and national. He has published several papers in major journals and is a frequent guest speaker on breast reconstruction, body contouring and facial plastic surgery. His interests include minimally invasive cosmetic surgery of the face, breast and body; body contouring and reconstructive breast surgery.

Dr. Cabbabe is married to a beautiful and talented anesthesiologist, Amy. Dr. Cabbabe has one child, Parker Grady Cabbabe. Dr. Cabbabe loves sports, food and travel.
