A woman in her 60’s who had contractures of both silicone breast implants with rupture placed many years ago. She underwent major revision with removal of the abnormal capsules and placement of new, round 295 cc silicone textured implants. These were placed above the muscle due to her muscular frame to prevent animation deformity. We were unable to use shaped implants due to concern for rotation in this revision procedure.
